Sometimes it might be difficult to find all you want in one package. In media buying you should plan for different functions being performed by different agents. Depending on your experience you can use a marketing agency to develop a n advertising pitch for you, then forward it to a designer who would come up with the relevant designs for use in the advertisement.
Your can use a media buying agency to purchase space in relevant media and place it. The problem with this arrangement is that it is money and time consuming. Also there is lack of consistency due to too many people working on the project on individual levels. If anything goes wrong it hard to pin point anyone.
The penetration of the message to target groups which offer the potential market is very much dependant on the planning; of the media buying agency. Poor work will result to failed campaigns which would cost great sums of money. If different media buying agencies are used they should be specialized on the particular tasks given. They should also be gifted enough to take the project at the level presented and develop it to the next amicably.
The choice of media buying services will also be dependant on the availability of the whole package or its absence. The experience, the expertise and the budget will directly or indirect dictate the process. But the best way to go if the resources are available is to hire a single agent to do all the work.
